Tracy has worked therapeutically with adults and children for 20 yrs as a social worker in community
settings and is now offering a counselling approach to focus on restoring interpersonal difficulties
and stressors.
Tracy also has experience working with front line workers in NZ Police, and has a knowledge of
emergency services demands and pressures.
Tracy takes a practical, compassionate, and problem-solving approach to exploring the challenges
that life presents. She is interested in the promotion of good mental health, the development of
healthy relationships, and the value of self-awareness and self-worth.
She uses a mix of Acceptance and Commitment therapy, mindfulness and self compassion
approaches, and uses a trauma-informed approach to working with people. She is also curious about
Te Ao Māori approaches. She is Tau Iwi and is slowly learning Te Reo.
